不期而遇 (二)

在兩幢陳舊的大厦間,有這條陋巷,少人用也少人管。

是造就這片風光的原因吧! 印象中它出現好一段時間了. . .

(Left) Jean Arp, Collage Arranged According to the Laws of Chance, 1916–17.
(Right) Paul Klee, Chalk Drawing, 1939

Nice to meet you, 新鮮人 & walker. I'll continue to look for more art around us ^^

walker, it's a narrow path found on Queen's Road West, opposite to the Sheung Wan Civic Centre.

By chance just bum into your blog. Sometimes past memories/experience will change your interpretation of a text. I had similar experiences also, and it is was very strange. http://lebenswelts.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!35EE915656A8ACB8!547.entry

Thanks for your note alan. i think our brains are very powerful in some ways. And some people are very sensitive to images, just like you and me.

Thank for your reply too, Magie. I surfed more of your blog, and your 不期而遇 (五) is a classic. These experiences are like deja vu. I am more sensitive to color than pattern in 不期而遇 experiences. Sometimes I am frightened just by looking at some colors, in real life and in painting. Very strange. BTW, are you interested to discuss more on this? If you do, please drop me a line to alanctang@gmail.com. Thx and have a great 2009, Alan

It is me again. Sorry. Just have 'remembered' and confirmed another one. Have to post it asap. Experience dictates interpretation?
This will make a good one to start in 09. A

Alan: Art mimicks life and life embraces art. That's a very circular phenomemon. I marvel at your "Monet vs. real life landscape" experience but i think it won't be hard to find similar experiences if we keep our mind and eyes open. Let's share more experiences alike in the future :)
