Barbara Kruger在Singapore Biennale展出的作品，又是影像與文字、現實與超現實的美妙組合，集幽默、睿智和警世於一身。
當我膚淺地向Roland Barthes的理論如"the sign and the signified"投降時，卻總又折服於Kruger的鬼才。
冇辦法，誰叫Kruger早就道出至理名言 "I shop therefore I am" ?

When I was in Year 2, my Comp. Lit porfessor gave us a line "I've got a good mind to give up living, and go shopping instead" -- (B.B. KING) This is the topic of the term essay... and I got a "A+" for it. Now i am sticking to my A+ in the essay, go living go living!!
